Dear coach and staff,
Hello, my name is Josh Anderson and I am a junior at Capistrano Valley Christian School in San Juan Capistrano, California. I am a proficient student and currently have a 3.75 GPA in general studies and various honors classes. I am seeking a University with programs to further my education and opportunities. I am very dedicated and focused on creating a future for myself and family. Finding the right University is my next step, and I am looking to find a University like yours that can ready me for the future.
The factors that influenced me to pursue an undergraduate degree at this time are that I am about to graduate from high school (2015), and I want to receive an education to get my life started in the right direction. My short-term objectives are to excel in your program, become an elite student, get the starting Kicker/Punter job, and ultimately graduate at the top of my class. My long-term objectives are to design and construct a plan to develop a successful business. Another long term objective is to establish a healthy and a long lasting family life. The two most significant things I have done during the previous year are completing an almost undefeated football season and volunteering for missionary work on Skid row, in Los Angeles, California to help and feed the homeless.
The personal qualities I possess, being tenacious, hard working, goal minded, and goal oriented to improve my craft, will facilitate success in this work. I have experience in the business field in that I have worked at The UPS Stores operating at Arizona State University and the University of Colorado Boulder during campus move in, move out, and summer storage. I am skilled in computer software and technology. I have operated various forms of computers, technology, and operating systems for most of my adolescence. My potential for success in forming effective and culturally relevant interpersonal relationships in individual and small group contexts is great because I am easy to get along with and always directed to accomplish set goals.
I look forward to this communication with you and the University,
Joshua Anderson
